WILLIAM H. MORTENSEN HALL

Mortensen Hall, with its striking art-deco interior and state-of-the-art equipment, production and support capabilities, can host any event – from Broadway, symphony and rock, to onstage weddings, receptions and corporate presentations. Mortensen Hall is a major stop for national touring Broadway shows, including recent Tony®-Award winners The Book of MormonWickedJersey Boys and Billy Elliot The Musical. The theater also hosts The Connecticut Forum and many national touring acts, including recent performances by Tony Bennett, Steve Martin, Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Brightman, Diana Krall, Wynton Marsalis, Eddie Vedder, WILCO and Diana Ross. Patrons can look up and see Drama, the largest hand-painted ceiling mural of its type in the United States, representing ancient traditions and early 20th century modernity.
