This program culminates in a fully staged live production of Roger & Hammerstein's Cinderella: Youth Edition, by way of multiple performances at both The Bushnell and the Warner Theatre.

Youth ages eight to 16 are invited to audition for this extraordinary theatrical experience. Whether they are seasoned performers or stepping onto the stage for the very first time, all young artists are encouraged to audition, and no prior performance experience is required.

Audition Information
Online Audition Tape Submissions will be accepted beginning at 8AM Sunday, September 20, 2026, and end at 5PM on September 22, 2026. A link to submit your auditions will be added to this page. Please note any submissions received outside of this designated time frame, (earlier or later) will not be considered. Please find the audition materials & submission form below. Audition/In Person Callbacks will be confirmed via email on or before Monday, Oct. 12th 2026, after 5:00PM.
Students should submit:
A 60-second vocal selection (approximately one verse and one chorus) of a song in the style of classical Broadway, Disney, or the show itself.
A recording of one monologue selected from the three provided monologues.

How to Prepare for Your Audition
Students interested in auditioning should prepare the following materials before the submission portal opens:
Vocal Selection
Prepare a 60-second vocal selection (approximately one verse and one chorus) from any song in the style of classical Broadway, Disney, or Cinderella.
Monologue
Prepare and record one monologue selected from the provided audition monologue options. Please use the link below to access Audition Monologues!
Submission Guidelines
When the submission portal opens, students will be asked to submit:
- A video recording of their vocal selection
- A video recording of their monologue
- A shareable Google Drive or YouTube link for each recording (Please ensure that sharing settings are set to "Anyone with the link can view.")
- File Naming Format: StudentFirstName_LastName_Audition
Submission Portal Dates
The Virtual Audition Submission Portal will be open from September 20, 2026 through September 22, 2026. Students are encouraged to prepare their materials in advance, so they are ready to submit during this window.
Tuition & Casting
Cast lists will be distributed electronically (via email) on or before Monday, November 16, 2026. Program tuition is $800 for the full course, (December 8, 2026 - May 2, 2026).
An initial $200 participation fee deposit is required on or before December 4, 2026. Remaining payment due dates are January 29, 2027, March 5, 2027, and April 23, 2027 - $200 each. (A one-time payment option is also available. Families who submit the full program tuition by December 4, 2026, will receive the discounted rate of $750 (regular tuition: $800)
Rehearsals
Upon notification of confirmed program placement/performance casting, masterclasses and rehearsals will take place as follows at the West Harford Senior Center, 15 Starkel Road, West Hartford, CT.
Tuesdays and Sundays: December 8, 2026 – April 24, 2027 (no convening on Sunday, December 20, 2026)
Tuesdays : 5-8pm
