Arts In Education
The Bushnell Artists in Residency program aims to strengthen student learning in the areas of literacy, the arts and intercultural competency, using the arts as a sparkplug to learning in the classroom. A master teaching artist, often working directly in the classroom, uses literature, along with their art form (i.e. music, theatre, dance, poetry, creative writing, storytelling, puppetry) energize learning, provide a deeper understanding of ideas and develop critical thinking skills in young people.
