Local girls join Annie chorus
In December 2003, many young girls from throughout Connecticut auditioned in The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts' Belding Theater for one of the coveted roles in the Annie orphan chorus. After an evening of singing and dancing, 12 talented girls were chosen to perform in the February 17-22, 2004 production of Annie. Those chosen are: Saralynne Helena Brown, Windsor, Eileen Cannon, Marlborough, Gabrielle Carrubba, Wallingford, Emma Gannon-Salomon, Cheshire, Ashaleena Jones, Southington, Gretchen Elizabeth Lemke, Moodus, Magdalena Lenczewski, New Britain, Amanda Lupacchino, Tolland, Ashley Marsella, Windsor, Lillian Rigling, Avon, Caroline St. Germain, Old Saybrook, and Lauren Tierney, New Britain. Annie will be at The Bushnell's Mortensen Hall for a one-week engagement, February 17-22, 2004. Tickets are available at The Bushnell Box Office, located at 166 Capitol Avenue in Hartford.
