OCTOBER 3, 2002, HARTFORD, CT - Brad Sherwood, one of the regular cast members on ABC's "Whose Line is it Anyway?," will appear as part of LAF: Laughter Arts Festival on Saturday, November 2, 2002 at The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts' Belding Theater as part of the ConnectiCare Comedy Series. Brad Sherwood is a regular cast member on ABC's "Whose Line is it Anyway?" He was also a regular for three seasons on the British version of "Whose Line." His other credits include "The Drew Carey Show," a season on "L.A. Law" as Jill Eikenberry's love-struck nanny, and a cast member on the sketch comedy series "The Newz." Sherwood also hosted a season of "The New Dating Game," ABC's "Big Moment," and recently guest-hosted "Talk Soup." He has been a regular performer on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" for six years. Sherwood is an alumnus of "The Second City."
Jim Gaffigan's cutting edge, clever style has earned him an unprecedented seven appearances on the "Late Show with David Letterman." Gaffigan has also had numerous appearances on "Late Night with Conan O'Brian," "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn" and Comedy Central's "Dr. Katz." He also performed his own half-hour comedy special "Comedy Central Presents: Jim Gaffigan." After his first appearance on "Letterman," the talk show host personally chose Gaffigan to develop a sitcom for World Wide Pants. The result was the critically acclaimed "Welcome to New York," co-starring Christine Baranski. Last season, Gaffigan co-starred with Ellen Degeneres on "The Ellen Show."
One of comedy's fastest-rising stars, Modi has enjoyed great success. In New York City he appears regularly at Carolines on Broadway, the Comic Strip, the Comedy Cellar, Gotham Comedy Club, and the Stand-Up New York. Modi is famous for his Friars Club Roasts. He recently had the honor of performing at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC, and has appeared with Richard Lewis, Bobcat Goldthwait and Kevin Meany.
