Rock Out with The Jimmies at The Bushnell

The Bushnell presents real music for real kids!

Hartford, CT – September 23, 2008 – Come rock out with The Jimmies, the coolest children’s music group around, on Saturday, October 18, 2008 in Belding Theater.  This band, founded by lead singer Ashley, is a number one pick for kids and parents alike with a repertoire of silly songs that appeal to children without being babyish.  The concert  begins at 11:00 AM and runs approximately 50 minutes.  This Bushnell event is a part of the Robinson & Cole Family Series.

Tickets to see The Jimmies are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting The Bushnell Box Office at 166 Capitol Avenue in Hartford or by calling (860) 987-5900.  Tickets may also be purchased online at www.bushnell.org.  Groups of 20 or more should call (860) 987-5959.  Tickets are $15.  Premium Orchestra seating is available for $25 a ticket and includes a post-show “Make Your Own Sundae Party” meet and greet.

Their new album "Make Your own Someday" was included on over a dozen "Best Kids Album of the Year" lists and their single "What's That Sound?" just hit #1 on the XMKids Radioplay Charts.
