Break out your diamonds and denim at The Bushnell's annual gala, Ovations 2008

March 25, 2006, HARTFORD, CT –  Bejeweled, bedazzled, and be seen at an event-filled night of glamour and fun as The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts hosts its annual gala, OVATIONS, on Saturday, April 5, 2008. Lisa Wilson-Foley and Tracey Lunenburg are co-chairs of this event, which is sure to be the party of the year. OVATIONS is an annual fundraiser for The Bushnell’s nationally-recognized arts-in-education program, PARTNERS® (Partners in Arts and Education Revitalizing Schools), which reaches more than 15,000 children in the Greater Hartford area through school-based programming, language arts festivals, and Bushnell Children’s Theatre.

This casually elegant and multi-faceted gala will feature sparkling cocktails, culinary stations, silent and live auctions followed by a special performance by our award-winning students. Dance the night away until midnight in the sophisticated elegance and comfort of diamonds and denim. Corporate tables and individual tickets are available at different price levels.

Auction packages include a night in New York City and tickets to see a taping of “The Late Show with David Letterman;” an extravagant ski getaway in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; a walk-on role in musical The Wedding Singer at The Bushnell; a Legally Blonde girls’ night out; a trip to see Young Frankenstein on Broadway including a backstage tour and dinner; and much, much more!
