Featuring the comedic talents of Carole Montgomery, Eddie Brill, and Joe Matarese

Hartford!  Enjoy drink specials as you join host 96.5 TIC’s Damon Scott in The Bushnell’s Belding Theater on February 15, 2008 at 8:30 pm.  The evening will feature the comedic talents of Carole Montgomery, Eddie Brill, and Joe Matarese.  The first 200 patrons entering the theater will receive a free copy of Hartford Magazine’s February issue featuring Hartford’s Most Eligible Singles, while supplies last. The Ha! Ha! Hartford! series is sponsored by United Technologies Corporation.  Comedians have been booked with the assistance of Treehouse Comedy Productions (www.treehousecomedy.com).

Ha! Ha! Hartford host Damon Scott is also host of 96.5 TIC-FM’s weekday afternoon show “The Damon Scott Show with Jeannine Jersey.”  He's been in broadcasting for over 18 years. Damon is a regular contributor to the Satellite Comedy Network and operates his own production company producing commercials and imagery for stations all around the country.

Carole Montgomery and her ivory girl looks and off color humor may make people squirm but she pulls it off with a sly wink. Carole is a respected veteran of the comedy scene nationwide. Prior to starring in 2 different Las Vegas revues, Carole headlined comedy clubs and colleges all over the country. Most recently she moved back to New York City where she performed her one woman show Tales of a PT&A Mom at the 45th St. Theatre. Carole has performed at the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs festival, the Boston Comedy Festival and also recorded a CD called "Extreme Comedy the Women." She has appeared on numerous television shows which include "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen," "Nick at Nite's Funniest Mom 3" (a Finalist), "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher," "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn," "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and "Showtime's Comedy Club All-Stars 6 with Don Rickles" along with stand-up appearances on MTV, Lifetime, VH-1 and A&E television networks, respectfully. Carole’s act contains sexual content and is not for the easily offended.  http://www.carolemontgomery.com

Eddie Brill is a very versatile comedy talent. He is an accomplished stand-up and also the long running talent coordinator for "The Late Show with David Letterman." His stand-up talents are also utilized every day as the warm-up for the CBS TV broadcast. Eddie is not only behind the cameras but has also appeared in front of the camera as well. He has eight Letterman appearances featuring his stand-up. This doesn’t include all of the episodic and skit appearances on the long-standing Late Show with David Letterman. Eddie has been featured in his own "Comedy Central Presents Eddie Brill," "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn" and "The World Stands Up." Eddie is also an educated Professor of Punchlines. He teaches stand-up comedy in his not-so-spare time. http://www.eddiebrill.com

Joe Matarese lives in West Chester New York with his psychiatrist wife and newly born son. He and his wife recently won $10,000 in Bravo’s “Better Half” when Joe taught her how to do stand-up comedy better than the competing couple who also swapped jobs. Joe has also been featured on MTV's “Spring Break,” “The Jim Breuer Show,” “The Carson Daly Show,” NBC's “Late Friday,” Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," “Last Comic Standing,” numerous times on “The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn,” and most recently, "The Late Show with David Letterman" and on his very own Comedy Central Special, "Comedy Central Presents... Joe Matarese."  Joe’s completely autobiographical act pokes fun at his neurotic Italian family and how they’ve molded him, his hatred of single-life, his frantic move back East to find real love, and his marriage to a woman who has a Ph.D. in Psychology (his perfect match). Now his main objective is fixing Joe - he has to if he wants this relationship to work. Joe has also played the Mohegan Sun and The Borgata Hotel and Casinos. http://www.joematarese.com
