There' is nothin' like....South Pacific!

The 2008 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, South Pacific, begins its run here at The Bushnell tonight! This Rodgers & Hammerstein classic was stunningly reinvented by Lincoln Center Theater, and we are proud to bring it to Hartford. The beloved score's songs include some of the best in American musical theater - "Some Enchanted Evening," "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair," "There is Nothin' Like a Dame," and so many more - you won't want to miss it!

Let us know what you thought of the show!

Catherine Murray:

I attended the opening performance of South Pacific. It was fantastic. The actors were well suited to their parts, Rod Gilfry and Carmen Cusak were wonderful in the leading roles. The orchestra was great. The sets were beautiful. This show was a treat.

ROBERT:

I saw SOUTH PACIFIC last night, and it was great. Bloody Mary was terrific and very funny.
BRAVO Bushnell, great choice for this season.

missy:

Bryan Austermann:

I saw the show Sunday afternoon and it was Wonderful! I especially liked seeing Carmen Cusak again after seeing her as Elphaba in Wicked last time it was at The Bushnell! I agree with Robert, Bloody Mary was hilarious! I expected the show to be good, and it was Great! Excellent work! I will be back for Porgy and Bess.
